SurgiWorld supplies combination explorer probes to dentists and dental hygienists across Canada.
What is in the range
The range includes 6/Williams and 23/Williams explorer probes, EXP23/Williams, EXP23/UNC15 and EXP23/CP12 probes, and 23/CP8, 23/CP10, 23/CP11 and 23/CP11.5B (ball tip) explorer probes. Each instrument pairs an explorer end with a periodontal probe end.
How to choose
Choose by the explorer tip you prefer and the marking system on the probe end, such as Williams, UNC or the CP series. Slim handles suit clinicians who prefer a lighter instrument.
Clinical use
One instrument covers both tasks: the explorer end checks tooth surfaces for caries and calculus, and the probe end measures pocket depth.
All instruments are made from medical grade stainless steel and can be autoclaved between patients.

Frequently asked questions

It is a double-ended instrument with an explorer on one end and a periodontal probe on the other.
What does the marking system change?
The markings set the millimetre increments you read when charting pocket depth, so choose the one that matches your charting habits.
