SurgiWorld supplies dental bone files to oral surgeons and general dentists across Canada.
What is in the range
The range includes Schluger 9/10 interdental files, Sugarman 1S/2S and 3S/4S files, Miller-Colburn 2X and 3X files and the 52 Miller bone file.
How to choose
Pick the file shape for the site. Interdental patterns reach between teeth, while larger faces smooth broader ridges. Keeping one interdental pattern and one broader pattern on the tray covers most sites, and a light, controlled stroke removes small amounts of bone at a time.
Clinical use
Bone files smooth and finish alveolar bone after extraction, ridge recontouring and osseous surgery.
All instruments are made from medical grade stainless steel and can be autoclaved between patients.

Frequently asked questions
When should I use a bone file instead of a rongeur?
A rongeur removes bone in bulk. A bone file finishes and smooths the surface afterward.
Can bone files be sterilized?
Yes, they are stainless steel and can be autoclaved.
