SurgiWorld supplies dental hemostats to oral surgeons and general dentists across Canada.
What is in the range
The range includes Kocher hemostats, Rochester-Pean (16 cm), Adson (19 cm), Hartmann (9 cm), Mosquito (12 cm) and Kelly-Rankin (16 cm) hemostats, in straight and curved versions with ratchet locks.
How to choose
Size and tip decide the job. Hartmann and Mosquito hemostats have fine tips for small vessels and delicate tissue. Rochester-Pean and Kelly-Rankin suit heavier clamping, and Kocher hemostats have 1×2 interlocking teeth for dense tissue.
Clinical use
Hemostats clamp vessels, hold tissue and grip suture material during oral surgery.
All instruments are made from medical grade stainless steel and can be autoclaved between patients.
