Posterior Sickle Scaler N4 (similar to NEVI4) is selected when posterior calculus is heavier, burnished, or more tenacious than what a standard thin sickle can clear in a single pass.

The defining feature is a reinforced, more rigid shank paired with longer, tapered dual blades, which lets the tip stay stable under load while working stubborn deposits free instead of flexing away from them.

Clinically, this scaler is used for supragingival and shallow subgingival calculus removal on the distal and mesial surfaces of molars and premolars, particularly where deposits have built up and hardened. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
