The #222 Lower Molar Apical Forceps in the Atlas pattern are built for lower molar extractions and retained root delivery in adult mandibular cases. The narrow, tapered beaks are shaped to engage the cervical and apical region of lower first and second molars, giving the operator deep socket access where a standard #23 cowhorn cannot seat into the furcation.
