Luxator 5mm Curved

Luxator 5mm Curved is used further along in an atraumatic extraction, once the periodontal ligament space has been opened with a thinner straight blade and a wider instrument is needed to finish loosening the tooth.

The defining feature is the curved 5mm blade, which follows the natural contour of the root surface and reaches around larger teeth or into areas where a straight blade would not seat flush against the root.

Clinically, the blade is worked around the socket circumference with rocking and rotational pressure, continuing to sever periodontal ligament fibers and loosen the tooth without the wedging leverage of a standard elevator. This helps protect the buccal plate, particularly on wider-rooted posterior teeth. Medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
