SurgiWorld supplies posterior periodontal curettes to dentists and dental hygienists across Canada.
What is in the range
The range covers Gracey 7/8, 11/12 and 13/14 curettes, rigid Gracey versions, After Gracey versions with an extended terminal shank, and Mini Gracey 1/2, 11/12 and 13/14 curettes with a shorter blade.
How to choose
Gracey 11/12 is made for the mesial surfaces of posterior teeth and 13/14 for the distal surfaces. Rigid shanks give more strength on heavy calculus, After versions reach deeper pockets, and Mini versions suit tight, narrow pockets.
Clinical use
These curettes are used for scaling and root planing on posterior teeth.
All instruments are made from medical grade stainless steel and can be autoclaved between patients.
