13/14 Heidbrink Root Tip Pick combines two different curved tips on one double-ended handle, so a clinician can switch approach angles mid-procedure without setting down the instrument.
One end carries a shorter, more direct curve suited to open sockets with straightforward access, while the opposite end has a longer, tighter S-shaped curve built to reach deeper or more restricted sites that the shorter end cannot line up with. Having both patterns on a single handle reduces the number of separate picks a tray needs to carry and speeds up root fragment retrieval when the fragment’s position is not known until the socket is already open.
Clinically, it covers a wider range of root fragment retrieval scenarios than either single curve alone. Manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
