Nebraska 128 Scaler is a delicate scaler with a very thin tip, used primarily for the removal of fine calculus and stains from the interdental spaces of anterior teeth. Its lightweight blade design offers high tactile sensitivity, letting a clinician feel small irregularities on the enamel surface that a thicker blade would miss. The narrow profile lets the tip enter interdental spaces cleanly without disturbing the surrounding papilla. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable. It is a common choice for finishing passes after heavier calculus has already been removed with a sturdier scaler, especially during a patient’s regular recall visit.
