34S Straight Seldin Elevator carries the same pointed, apex-focused tip geometry as the standard 34, built on a slimmer blade profile for sites where the wider version cannot seat.
The reduced width is the entire difference between the two: it lets the tip work into tighter interproximal spaces, smaller or more crowded roots, and narrower sockets, while keeping the same straight-shank control and apical reach the Seldin pattern is chosen for.
Clinically, it is kept alongside a standard 34 as the access-limited option, used whenever space rather than leverage is what is stopping the elevation. Manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
