9 Chandler Bone Chisel, Mono-Bevel Single-Ended Bone Chisel for Ridge and Site Preparation

CAD 99.99

SKU: CH9CN

Chandler bone chisel 9 is a mono-bevel single-ended instrument for bone shaving and site preparation, providing a distinct shank angulation that positions the blade at a different approach angle to the bone surface from the other mono-bevel instruments in the Chandler series. Used for alveolar ridge smoothing, cortical bone surface preparation, and implant site contouring where the specific geometry of the surgical site makes the #9 approach angle the most efficient for directing the cutting edge against the target bone. Mallet-compatible round platform handle. Medical-grade stainless steel, autoclavable.

SKU:CH9CN

The 9 Chandler Bone Chisel is a mono-bevel shaving instrument that extends the Chandler series coverage to approach angles not provided by the #1, #2, or #4. In a complex alveolar ridge preparation or implant site development where the bone surface being contoured faces in multiple directions – a common situation in the posterior mandible or in ridge augmentation with irregular cortical topography – having multiple Chandler instruments with distinct shank angles allows the surgeon to direct the mono-bevel cutting edge against the target surface efficiently from several different approach positions without changing the patient’s head position or moving to a different instrument family entirely.

Mono-bevel design, mallet-compatible handle, medical-grade stainless steel, autoclavable. Verify blade width from your stock – Chandler #9 dimensions are not consistently published across major instrument catalogs.
