Osteotome Bone Pusher, Slightly Convex Tip, Straight, 3.7mm is a finishing instrument used after the tapered osteotomes have already opened and condensed an implant site, rather than an opening instrument itself. Its tip carries only a slight convex profile, blunter than the tapered convex and concave tips used earlier in a bone-spreading sequence, built to complete final compaction and seat any grafted bone particulate firmly against the osteotomy walls before implant placement. At 3.7mm, this is the mid-range diameter in the bone pusher range, matched to finish the site opened by the same diameter tapered osteotome. The straight shaft keeps the handle in-line with the tip, suited to anterior sites and posterior sites with adequate straight-line access. Depth markings at 7, 10, 13, 15, and 18mm run along the shaft for a final visual depth check before the implant is placed. This is typically the last instrument used in a bone-spreading sequence, reached for only once expansion and condensation are already complete, whether or not particulate bone graft has been introduced into the site, and immediately before the implant fixture itself is threaded into place. Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.

Osteotome Bone Pusher, Slightly Convex Tip, Straight, 3.7mm is used at the end of a bone-spreading sequence, after the tapered osteotomes have already opened and laterally condensed the implant site.

The tip carries only a slight convex profile, deliberately blunter than the more pronounced convex and concave tips used for the earlier condensing and elevating steps. Its job is not to expand or shape the osteotomy further, but to complete final compaction of the site walls and firmly seat any grafted bone particulate against them, leaving a stable, well-packed site ready for the implant itself.

At 3.7mm, this is the mid-range diameter in the bone pusher range, sized to match and finish the site opened by the same diameter tapered osteotome earlier in the sequence. The straight shaft keeps the handle in-line with the tip for direct control, suited to anterior sites and posterior sites with sufficient straight-line access. Depth markings at 7, 10, 13, 15, and 18mm allow a final visual depth check immediately before implant placement.

Periodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and general dentists placing their own implants use this instrument as the closing step of a bone-spreading protocol, once ridge expansion and bone condensation are already finished and the site is ready to receive the implant itself, whether that protocol also involved introducing particulate bone graft into the osteotomy or not. Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
