2/4 Molt Surgical Curette pairs an oval, cup-shaped working end with a pointed end on the same double-ended handle, built for debriding and exploring a socket after a tooth has been extracted.
The cup end scoops granulation tissue, bone debris, and loose fragments from the socket wall with a broad, controlled sweep, while the pointed opposite end reaches into tighter areas of the socket and breaks up any remaining soft tissue attachment that the cup cannot access. Combining both shapes on one handle covers the majority of routine post-extraction debridement without needing to switch instruments partway through the step.
Clinically, it is used for socket debridement, removing granulation tissue, and general exploration following extractions or minor surgical procedures. Manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
