Seldin 23 Periosteal Elevator is a double-ended instrument built for flap reflection where a blunt, rounded tip is preferred over a sharp point. The blunt tip design separates the periosteum from bone with steady, controlled pressure rather than a cutting action, which reduces the risk of perforating the flap during reflection.
