3C Coupland Gouge Elevator is the narrowest instrument in the Coupland series, typically the last one reached for once the 1C and 2C have already opened and expanded the socket.
Its slim concave tip is built to advance into the tight remaining space at the end of an elevation sequence, finishing the loosening process before forceps complete the extraction. The same narrow profile makes it a practical standalone choice for smaller roots, tight interproximal spaces, and retrieving root fragments where a wider Coupland blade would not have room to seat.
Clinically, it is used as the final stage of a staged Coupland elevation, or independently on narrow single-rooted teeth. Manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
